4 types of attachment

Today I learned that there are 4 different attachment styles.

  1. Secure Attachment: Comfortable with both intimacy and independence, seeks support when needed.

  2. Anxious-Preoccupied Attachment: Craves constant reassurance and fear of abandonment.

  3. Avoidant Attachment: Prefers independence, uncomfortable with emotional intimacy.

  4. Disorganized Attachment: Conflicted, unpredictable behavior in relationships.

Number 1 is the most healthy one and what we generally prefer. The good thing is you can change your attachment style by conscious effort.
