Meditation pro tip
If you've recently started meditation, one of the best things you can do is to learn to sit with correct posture. It makes meditation so much easier, when your spine is aligned properly you don't have to use any muscles to maintain that posture. You can just focus on your breath or whatever.
Now, there are a few different options such as burmese and different lotus variations. Watch some YouTube tutorials and find out which one works best for you. For me it's half lotus, with the leg left on top.
You will also need a pillow to sit on. Any old pillow you have works well. Experiment which pillow works best for you. I use one which is kinda firm and not too big. Or if you can sit comfortably with a perfect posture without any pillow for longer periods of time, I really really admire you.
