What is happiness?
Happiness is a buzzword which gets thrown around a lot. I don't know what happiness is, but there are 2 definitions I've heard which have stuck with me:
"What is happiness? It's a moment before you need more happines." From Mad Men (great show btw)
"Happiness is continuous improvement," can't remember where I heard this the first time.
For me those make sense. I'm happy when I don't have to think about being happy, when I'm doing something I enjoy and have a clear mission or goal with the right amount of pressure. Too much pressure (like a deadline) and it becomes stressful. Too little pressure (not enough challenge) and you're not improving.
Happiness is not a goal, it's a byproduct.
